Project Modern Farmhouse: Small Space Patio Looks!

Today on Jackie James, we're imagining patio set-ups. Pictured is the patio from our Modern Farmhouse Renovation. It's literally a blank canvas for your imagination. Pressure washing the fence and re-staining the wood did WONDERS for that backyard view. It's almost like getting a brand new fence. We also pressure washed the decades or dirt, grease, and who knows what else off of the concrete patio. So come imagine a set-up for backyard grilling and entertaining!

This is an exterior paint job that almost didn't happen...in fact, it was actually one of our "Ooops!" moments. We went back and forth on whether or not we wanted to paint and how we could use the funds in other places of the renovation. So we canceled the painters. Happy Independence Day!

The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday, even more so than Christmas. The flags, musical marches, red white and blue everything mixed with an all around sense of 'merica pride is the highlight of my year. I can't quite put into words the feeling it gives me, but the overall joy and thankfulness to live in such a great and thriving country is unmatched. That being said, we're currently celebrating with friends and family, so we may not be able to answer comments and questions right away.
